Return of batteries / rechargeable batteries in accordance with the Batteries Act (BattG)
1. batteries and rechargeable batteries or hardware powered by batteries or rechargeable batteries must not be disposed of with household waste. Consumers are legally obliged to take batteries and rechargeable batteries or hardware powered by batteries or rechargeable batteries to suitable collection points, i.e. in shops wherever batteries and rechargeable batteries or hardware powered by batteries or rechargeable batteries are sold or to local authorities (recycling centers). Used batteries can also be sent or handed in to HandHelp UG (haftungsbeschränkt), Sachsendorfer Straße 5, 03051 Cottbus.
2 The waste garbage can means: Batteries and rechargeable batteries or hardware powered by batteries or rechargeable batteries must not be disposed of with household waste.
The signs under the garbage cans stand for:
Pb: Battery contains lead
Cd: Battery contains cadmium
Hg: Battery contains mercury
